Sign Up before you arrive for your exchange. Space will be limited to one bus. This year we are going to stay in a Disney Resort.

Itinerary

December 9 (Friday) - Columbus OH – Arrive (on your own) after 3:00 pm at our hotel near Columbus Airport. Students flying in (on own) will be transported to hotel (please arrive before 4:00 pm). We will have a meeting and pizza party tonight starting at 6:00 pm. If you arrive later you might miss the pizza party where we get to know each other and go over the details on the trip. We have to get ready for our departure early tomorrow morning.

December 10 (Saturday) - Spartanburg, South Carolina - This morning we'll leave from Columbus Ohio as we start our adventure to Orlando Florida. Today is a beautiful drive through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, the Smoky Mountains and into South Carolina with frequent stops. Tonight we'll stay in Spartanburg, South Carolina, just south of Charlotte North Carolina. (CB)

December 11 (Sunday) - Disney World, Kissimmee, Florida . - This morning we'll drive through Charleston SC and into Georgia and into Florida. We'll arrive early enough to check into our Disney Resort Hotel and then we'll explore "Downtown Disney" a shopping and entertainment Complex on the grounds of the famous Walt Disney World Resort. This is a great place to shop and take in the Disney atmosphere. (CB)

December 12 (Monday) - Magic Kingdom/Walt Disney World – Spend the day exploring the wonderings of this world-class theme park. Have your picture taken with any of the famous Disney characters, enjoy great shows and the beautiful daily parade. Ride on some of the most famous rides in the world. We'll stick around until the amazing fireworks which are a nightly occurrence. Bring your inner child.

December 13 (Tuesday) - Disney Hollywood Studios/Walt Disney World - Relive the world of movies at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park in Walt Disney World. Enjoy behind-the-scenes glimpses of Hollywood-style action with live shows, thrilling attractions, backstage tours and special events that only happen in this Disney Park dedicated to entertainment.. Ride the Hollywood Tower of Terror, the Aerosmith Rock and Roller Coaster, and many other rides and theater shows. The glitz and glamour of the Hollywood Heydays from the 1930s and 1940s are captured by the neon, chrome, art deco and modern architecture throughout Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The streets and sections of the 4 areas of the Park blend together like a large, bustling movie set.

December 14 (Wednesday) - Universal Studios, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure featuring The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - This is the hottest ticket in Florida. Go to Hogwarts and be a Gryffindor for a day. Have a butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks, enjoy a flight on a hippogriff (roller coaster), take the dragon challenge (another roller coaster based on the tri-wizard tournament), the Hogwart's Express, Honeydukes and a complete day of fun with everyone's favorite wizard. There are so many things to do at this marvelous park. We have a park hopper pass so you can go from one park to another and enjoy an amazing day. Join the battle of good versus evil above the streets of Marvel Super Hero Island. Get splash happy with your favorite cartoon characters in the water rides of Toon Lagoon. Come face to face with the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. Venture through the mists of time as you experience the epic adventures of The Lost Continent. And step right into the pages of the children’s books of Dr. Seuss in Seuss Landing. Both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are the stuff legends are made of.

December 15 (Thursday) - Spartanburg, SC - This morning we'll drive up the east coast of Florida stopping this en-route. Good time to buy oranges (they grow them here). This evening we'll be staying in Spartanburg, South Carolina, near Charlotte, NC.

December 16 – (Friday) Home – We drive home after a great trip. Your family should pick you up around 6:00 p.m. (CB)

Students flying in (Air Fare is NOT included on this tour) will stay overnight December 16 and leave the next morning December 17. Please schedule your flight before 12:00 noon on December 17.

Send a deposit of $400 with you application. (make checks payable to McMurray Travel Service, all payments must be in U.S. funds made drawn on a U.S. bank). Mail your check or money order to: McMurray Travel Service, 6480 Dobson Sq. E., Columbus Ohio 43229. BALANCE of $389 IS DUE 60 days before departure, October 9, 2011. Please put student's name and RotDisney in Memo of check or money order. (No international checks or credit cards. We prefer not to take wire transfers but can do it.) If you are waiting for money, send your application to hold your spot. Then send your deposit as soon as you can. A deposited application will supersede an undeposited application. YOU ARE NOT OFFICIALLY ON THE TRIP UNTIL YOUR DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED.

All Tours Subject to Possible Price Increase

While every effort has been made to guarantee our tour prices for 2010, due to recent oil price increases and fluctuations each tour may be subject to airline and Motor coach fuel surcharges before departure). We sincerely regret this, and do our best to avoid it if at all possible.

Cancellation Penalties: Individual tour members canceling from the tour for any reason will be charged the following percentages of the tour price. 60-15 days prior (October 9 - November 25, 2011) 25% of tour cost plus applicable supplier penalties, 14 Days prior (Nov. 24, 2011 at 5:00pm EDT) until return 100% of tour cost per participant. Travel insurance is highly recommended. No shows are non-refundable.

Flying Instructions

If you are coming from outside Central Ohio or related areas, remember that no flights are included in the cost of this tour. We can make the flight for you if you wish. There will be a overnight room charge of $40.00 as well as your hotel. If you fly arrive on December 10 and leave December 18. We urge you to take the earliest flight available from your hometown. This should keep you from missing the trip due to flight delays and cancellation. Our bus MUST leave early in the morning and if you can't arrive you may miss the trip.
